My family and I live in my hometown of Bracebridge, Ontario in the heart of Muskoka. I can’t picture a better place for my husband and I to raise our two daughters.
When working in clay, memories of my mom are never far from my mind. She loved to collect pottery, especially teapots which she would display all through her kitchen. There were dozens of them. I miss sharing a pot of tea with her and sadly only realized later how truly special those simple moments were. From my mom, I learned to appreciate pottery and the joy that comes with finding a piece that you just can’t live without. She was a creative person who showed me that the best gifts are those that are handmade with love. I was blessed with her creative hands and when I look at my hands work I will always picture hers…
Take care of all your memories. For you cannot relive them.

While being on maternity leave with my oldest daughter, I took a ceramics course. My love of collecting beautiful pottery quickly became an obsession of learning how to make it with my own two hands.
I have learned from losing both of my parents too early in their lives that life is truly too short not to be doing what you love. 2019 marked an exciting time for my family and I, when I left my office job to create a full time business in clay. My days are now spent in my home studio and I am beyond grateful to have my own creative space.
